I love finishing a basement! I find it combines many functions into one space and in general, people are more daring with their lower level. It also often has many design challenges such as posts and funny ceilings that need creative solutions. And like a good design dork, I thrive on those challenges. Jessica worked with the client, who is one of the sweetest ladies I know, to implement the basement plan. The client’s soft demeanor was calming and her smile was always present. I love how we were able to create a space that doesn’t feel like a basement but another extension of their home.
